When they first remade RE, it was almost like making a completely new game. Now, you can still play as the two main people Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield but there are some new things in it also, such as story elements. Now on for the positive things, the game play is a straight up survival horror like all the other RE games. But it is very fun and trying not to mention a little scary and on the edge all the time. The big new thing is the defense items. They come in very very handy in this game for close combat to get a zombie off of you in a hurry with out taking tons of damage. another good thing about the game is that the controls are really good. But they do take some time to get use to them but after you do you will really like them. The same thing goes for the camera angles, they change around a lot. The absoultely best thing about the game is the graphics. In a lot of the scenes, it will blow your mind how real it looks , such as water running over rocks and splashing..........just awesome. The characters also look really good. The game play turns out (after you get use to it) to be easy, but you enjoy it. Now for the bad things about the game. One is you don't have a clue what items to bring with you alot of the time and end up making several trips back to the item box to get things that you had no clue y ou would need. Since when you play as Chris you can only carry 4-5 items and you always want to be well stocked with you shooting power, you end up making SEVERAL trips that cut into the enjoyment of the game play. Also at the beginning of the game will be a little frustrating because you don't know what to do but doesn't take too long to figure it out. Over all this is one of the greatest RE game and probably survival horrors there is out there. Go buy the game, invite friends over, turn out the light and lock the doors and live the nightmare.
