Resident Evil is an amazing remake and any Resident Evil fan should own this. C'mon its only 20 bucks
The Graphics - are amazing, even though this game was made in 2002. The graphics hail even now in 2005 they could even be called better then Resident Evil 4. Every zombie is amazingly doen and looks diffrent, they little things like swyaing grass and moving water is JAW-DROPPING. The textures that they added are also awesome, you can see the texture on the cloths and almost tell what it would feel like. Instead of Jills clanky football looking chest plate you can see it is really see it is a softer looking material.
Enemies - Now not only to you fight the standard zombies, Crows and Zombie dogs. Now you can also fight likcer looking monsters. Hunters spiders and everything looks way better then anything I have seen. They even added a nemisis looking creature called Lisa Trevour. She stalks and adds a very sick feel to the game when you find files about her and also sent a chill when you heard her moaning off in the distance.
Feel - Like I said Resident Evil has a very disturbing scary feel this time around the lighting and visuals make it feel very Silent Hill-ish which isn't bad at all. The way the monster move and feel also can make you feelscared when you heard the far of shuffle of zombie feet and the slight moaning of one. Since the shadows are randomly flashing from lighting it is very scary when you see the shadow looming over you when the zombie is still about 30 feet from you. The random sounds they add also make you get a scared objects that move slightyl like bottles cast shadows and other effects making you feel like something would jump out at you which it does do.
As I have said resident Evil is a must for all veterans of the series. Everything has been changed the opening video the graphics script. It really shows off what graphics and Imagniation can really do to help a game and it shows. Now a game where you rnadomly run through a mansion turns into something much more......
