The reason why the Resident Evil series became so great.
Resident Evil (RE) first came out in the late 1990's. The game was very good and scary at that time. Then its fans out a whole new surprise by being introduced to a completely remade version. The sound, gameplay, voice acting and especially the graphics improved. This inspired the way how the popular RE4 would start out as.
In this Remade game, you play as STARS members Jill Valentine or Chris Redfiled. The introduction is also replaced with game graphics instead of real people. Jill's story and Chris's story differentiates from eachother slightly. Jill can hold 8 items while Chris can only hold 6. Howver, Chris can endure more damage than Jill can. Jill also has access to a lockpick while Chris has to find old keys to unlock some doors. Jill has Barry as an ally wihle Chris has Wesker.
The controls are still practically the same. The game still uses its classic tank controls and camera angles. These can take take some getting used to for first-timers of the RE series, but will eventually get the hang of it.
Along with many more special additions to the game, more puzzles were added. Remake is an outstanding game although probably outdated slightly. Remake is the better looking version and is the reason why the RE series became so great.
