Being a Nintendo fan I have always been a guy who says gameplay is where it's at and that graphics come second fiddle. The control in this game is so awkward that had poor Jill been a real person she would have been knocked out numorous times by me slamming her petite frame in to an ominous wall, not to mention the set camera. The strange thing is, once you get a feel for the game this control setup works great because the lack of control you have over your character is exactly what I would expect a person being chased by the undead to respond like. Was this intentional? I don't know but it really does aid in making the game a little more nerve racking when your movement is impaired.

Another part of the Gameplay that should be brought to life is the raw fear this game instills by keeping you on the verge of running out of ammo. There is nothing scarier in my opinion than facing an all powerful opponent with a little pairing knife. Add to this your character's stiff controls and you will be dreading moving into a new room or area. The two-character dynamic works well as you see the story from their different views. Some things in the game change and they have different abilities that alter the gameplay in a big way. This is the only game that ever made me jump while playing and yes, I felt kinda stupid because people were watching.

The controls are very awkward, but once you get a feel for the game, they aid the gameplay. It is annoying when you first start out. The overall gameplay of this game is great. I have never played a game this creepy before and it is sweet.
