The game that invented the survival horror genre.

When this game came out it was the scariest game I had ever experianced. This series is the only one that has actually made me jump. I first played it when it came out for the original Playstation system and I instantly fell in love with it. It at the time had wonderful graphics (still has beautiful backdrops), a engaging story and plenty of excitement with a good blend of puzzles. The enemies were also awesome. You start out blasting zombies, but the enemies get more dangerous and the bosses are great as well. If you have ever played a Resident Evil game and enjoyed it and have not played the original, YOU MUST PLAY IT! It may be hard to find in stores but you can find it for about $20 on ebay. I have never had so much fun playing a game in my entire life.
