Single player is great, but the online makes this game epic.

I really enjoyed playing through the single player campaign. The hordes of enemies and the varying types, but the gigantic bosses. Graphics are spectacular. However, I felt at time this one was a little easy, but that doesn't really matter.

The online makes this game one of the best available FPS's. The 60 person insanity of competetive mode is great, though not what is unique. It's the online 8 player cooperative. There were times where I had to play, cause I just had to reach the next level for my character. I had to get that next upgrade. I haven't had a game make me so frustrated with other people's flaws in a long time. Cooperation is that important.

I really like the player customization, the upgrades and unlocks. It gives everyone something to play for and allows for great player profiles. I didn't even play the first Resistance except at a friends for 30 minutes, and I could just tell how much better this one is.

By far one of my favorite games in my collection. I still enjoy playing it. Hence why I'm finally writing a review even so late.
