I had hoped this one would be different. And at first I was pleased. The soul killing checkpoints were modifed so I didn't have to keep fighting the same battle over and over. At first the game was moderatley fun. I liked the new characters and the settings were pretty good. The main flaw of this, and the other resistance games is the only way to develop tension that the developers seem to now is to throw ever increasing numbers of enemies at you in nay given situation. Hmm,,,if 2 chimera are scary, lets throw in 30. It all just degenerates into a boring mess. By chapter 17 I really couldn't have cared less for the game, the charcters or what passes for a story. I got this game because so many reviews claimed it had a good story, but after just finishing Crysis 2 and Deus Ex, this game was a boring tepid mess. Oh gee...here comes countless various Chimera..shoot shoot shoot....on the the next section filled with countless Chimera..wash rinse repeat. This game was a big waste of money..just like the previous 2 Resistance games.
