The Best waste of time ever created, it is too addictive to describe, yet it isn't for everyone. It has me!

When I was a young little boy, I loved to play computer games, and one of my favourites was “Wolfenstein 3-D”. Since then, there were never many PC shooters that appealed to me. Sure there were the “Doom” games, but those only lasted a little while for me, then there was “Half-Life”, but I was never gung-ho about it either. Then, it came… “Return to Castle Wolfenstein”. When I played its multiplayer, I was thrilled to say the least, but I couldn’t help finding myself somewhat disappointed. Finally, “Enemy Territory” came out. It was absolutely amazing. Now, I con go online and play a first person shooter with a twist of another genre I am very partial to, RPG. That’s right, RPG… It is amazing, the more you kill, the easier they made it for you. As though, not only your skills were improving, but so were those of your character. Then to make it even better, they have a class system which works flawlessly to make a fully functional team of soldiers. You can do so many different things from healing the wounded, to stealing enemy uniforms, to calling air-strikes, to repairing vehicles and building things… The list goes on and on! The community in the game is great too, you can find a player of similar skill, almost anywhere, or you can even join a clan, and enjoy the benefits of an organized team. The part that amazes me to this day is that I still play it. It has been well over a year now, probably even two, and I still play the game. In any other game I can think of, I would play it for hours on end, but after a few months, it would be old news, and I would give it up. This one, I have to fight to try to stop myself from playing 24-7. I almost wish it cost money to download it, because then I could stop myself from playing it. Many a time, I have had a major deadline, or a big Calculus exam coming up, and so I have to delete it from my computer. But wouldn’t you know it, a few days later, I have downloaded it again, and am hooked yet again. The only drawbacks I can think of about the game are that it is free, and it is so darn fun. Sure these sound like good, but you wouldn’t believe how addicted I am to it. So if you want a good game that is free, this is the one for you. On the other hand, if you can’t afford to play too much (not money wise, but time wise), this is not the game for you. I have feared for my University education because of this game. It is TOO fun to give up. It is like a drug that never gets old, and is FREE! If you ever want to see how good I’ve gotten with my countless wasted hours, look me up on the “Gib Games” servers.
