A no-brainer

Wow, where to begin? Well, it's free, takes no more than an hour to learn and a little bit longer to master. It's one of the rare games that combines straight-up entertaining action with a rich strategy. The five classes of soldiers and the many unique objectives separates this from other run-and-gun shooters. The maps that come with the game are great, and there's an unlimited number of user-created maps that will always ensure that the game never gets repetitive. It uses the more than adequate Quake III engine, and the sound gives you a good sense of where you are in the battle. If your computer meets the requirements, I highly recommend downloading it. (BTW: The minimum RAM is not right - I tried playing it with 256MB and it was almost unplayable. I upgraded to 512MB, and it just keeps from skipping on my machine. Don't try it on anything less than 512MB, folks.)
