graphic wise the game may not look as good as half-life or battle field 2 but what can you expect the game is free after all and was released 3 years ago. But the graphics are ok .
Gameplay in ET is a team based objective game. there are 2 teams the axis and the allies you choice one of them and you have to complete a few set objectives. this usually consits of the allies trying to break through axis defenses and blow up something. the axis is usually the defender having to repel the allies for a set period of time. In the game you can choice between 5 diffrent class types.
soldier-this is the class with the most powerful weapons rocket launcher,flamethrower,etc.
medic-this class can heal injured comrades or them selves and can even revived fallen comrades.
engineer-the most ecciental of all the classes just about every map requieres an engineer for the axis or allies to win. they can plant explosives and lay mines.
fieldop- has the most firepower of any class the field op can call artillery strikes form planes or bombard the enemy with tank fire also act as mobile ammo resupply stations giving ammo to commrades.
covert ops- only unit that can wield a sniper rifle with scope and can steal died enemy uniforms to sneak behind enemy lines.
These 5 classes offer some variety in the way you can play the game. you can go rambo medic where you kill people and then heal yourself after wards. go covert ops and snipe the enemy or just go soldier and blast everything with basoka.
There are 3 diffrent modes in ET campaign,objective,lastman standing,stopwatch. in campign you play through a bunch of maps and when all matches are played the team with most match wins wins the Campaign. objective is where you only play one map. Last man standing is where all player on both teams have only one life the last team standing wins. my personal favorite stopwatch is where there are 2 rounds in the second round the teams switch and must try to beat the other teams time.
ET has an arcadey FPS it isn't very realistic it has unrealistic phyics and this makes it possible to just go around jumping like crazy and kill every one. The game is pretty easy to get into once you get used to the maps you'll be playing like a pro. once you start playing it becomes very addictive
and you just can't stop you can easily go on for 4-6 hours straight.
