User Rating: 9 | Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory PC
After playing vanilla RtCW since the beach test, and playing the map test for ET, the final version of this game is pretty sweet. As with all online MP games, your experience on a server is dependent on your teammates, as Enemy Territory is a team-based game based on classes, but when you can find capable teammates who know the objectives, ET surpasses the original in terms of complexity and fun. I'm running the game with the graphics turned all the way up and it is beautiful. With far more color than RtCW, eye candy abounds, and the sounds (while somewhat inferior, IMO, than the original) are very nice. There are many more options available to players willing to put a little research into finding them (Google "Enemy Territory for Dummies") than are listed in the game menu, but if you plan to play this for awhile you should check them out. Well done to iD and Splash Damage for making this game, and especially for releasing it FREE OF CHARGE! C'mon, what more could you want?
