Occasionally a game comes along that is, for whatever reason, more fun than it should be. Paradrop is one of those inexplicably amusing titles. Paradrop puts you in control of a parajumper who, in a series of increasingly difficult levels, is trying to make it to the ground in as little time as possible. As the levels progress, you'll need to land your jumper in a smaller and smaller space, in less and less time. Be careful, though: If you release your parachute too late, you will fall to your doom.
Colorful sprites and fluid animation do wonders for this title, but the sun's eerie smile gives the impression that he is mocking your efforts. My main criticism of this game is that it is too one-dimensional. There really aren't any surprises here after you get the hang of the control. Consequently, what could have been a really addictive game falls a little short.
