In the arcades when the 1991 movie smash hit Terminator 2 had a few bad ports on game consoles but the arcade shoot em up by midway got a lot of commendation for how enjoyable it was at the time. A few years later midway seeing how successful the arcade game was now they release another arcade shooting game with much similarities to the Terminator 2 Arcade Shoot em up game but this time Aerosmith tag along for the ride. The arcade game wasn't too bad of a game but on the home consoles it's a different story, the lack of Light gun support for this T2 Arcade wannabe just doesn't give the famous rock band Aerosmith any justice.

The game starts out with an Military group known as NON also named the New Order Nation as they take control over variable citizens and also ban all forms of entertainment like TV, Newspapers and Video games. Aerosmith members are captured and everything is ruled by the headmistress named Helga. As a survivor or the youth couture you join the revolution to save the Aerosmith members and stop the New Order. The story is simply downright absurd and sometimes it just makes no sense. Why would anyone want to ban any forms of entertainment such as newspapers and video games and whats with the theme of having Music being the weapon. Well who cares about that anyway.

As you can expect from the arcade shoot em up you'll go on rails blasting everybody you see on the screen while also finding CD'S which you can launch right into crowds of enemies which really seems amusing. You can rescue hostages but rescuing them is problematic you'll might rescue them by shooting them all around but how you really rescue them is just pure random. Finding Aerosmith members can be a bit a pain as well. Some times you'll find one if you find any secret areas hidden in the game but otherwise rescuing Hostages and Aerosmith members feels silly.

The controls is a major problem as there is no light gun support but the SNES version has mouse support which at least it's a good thing but it feels like it's been included at the last moment because every time you click left mouse button you shoot and also pause the game at the same time. Otherwise your stuck with the painful sluggish cursor which is so slow to move around with the D-pad you'll often get killed fast when using it.

The Graphics in the game use digitized actors and environments which look awful compared to the arcade version also the game drops frame rates rapidly almost making the cursor harder to control. The sound effects don't sound to bad at least and the music is the Aerosmith music but are cut of from the original soundtracks.

It's not a pleasant shooting game to have on your Super Nintendo with many other rail shooters like Lethal Enforcers you'll be best saving your money elsewhere. Otherwise stick to the arcade version as the console game is just a total waste.

The Pros:
1. Launching CDS into crowds of enemies seems some-what amusing.

The Bads:
1. No light-gun support and trying control the cursor with the D-pad is horrible.
2. Shooting endless waves gets boring fast..
3. The story is downright absurd.
4. Rescuing Hostages and Aerosmith members feels somewhat silly.
5. It just doesn't play exactly like the arcade.
