Fear is the mind killer.
-Never has a game fused music, visuals, and sound effects together in such a unique way. Describing it in a review doesn't do it justice. A highly ambitious undertaking on the developer's part.
-You'll be tapping your foot to some of the songs, especially near the end of the 5th level, thanks in part to the vibration of the controller.
-A great game to rent, and very easy for casual gamers to pick up and play due to it's simplicity.
-The way each level starts off with just a few bleeps and steadily evolves into a full ensemble while the visuals do exactly the same is very cool. A lot of the levels convey a sense of falling or flying that really works well.
-Powering yourself up changes the gameplay a bit and looks neat.
Bad:
-You can effortlessly beat this game within about 4 hours and there's not much replay value unless you just want to experience the 5 levels all over again.
-Some of the boss battles are repetitive rather than thrilling.
-It's all much too easy for it's own good.
-The interaction you can have with everything is extremely limited. You can only look and shoot, you can't decide which direction to take or steer away from danger.
-Not for people who don't like synthesized house music or who need lots of gameplay variety.
