So infectious and addictive you will never want to stop playing.

User Rating: 10 | Rhythm Tengoku Gold DS
This is the best rhythm game I have ever played. It is completely addictive and innovative. The songs in the game are very addictive and stay in your head for days to come. Considering just how the game depends entirely on the songs, that's a good thing. The sound is very clear, and it sounds even better with head-phones. Now I'll talk about the modes and levels.
First of all, there's the main mode. there are a lot of games, and every one of them is hard and very rhythm-like. A few times after winning the level (like five or six), you can even play and win the level (song) without looking, just by listening. Now that is very good rhythm. Every time you finish a column of levels, there is a final level in the column, which is a remix of all the previous songs on the same column. This one is very fast-paced and the hardest part. There is also a feature in which a song that you have lost for three times, the guy at the cafe (another mode) will finish the level for you, but it won't have an outline, and that is supposed to remind you that you haven't finished it. A black outline means you finished the level on an OK, while a gold outline means you got a SUPERB. The levels are pretty hard do get an OK on, so a SUPERB is something to brag about on the later levels. The best thing to get is a PERFECT, which is the hardest thing to get.
Second of all, you have the Cafe. In the cafe, you can hear the levels you played well (only PERFECT levels), read all the notices the game showed you, talk to the guy who plays the levels you can't finish (his name is Barista), and you can practice flicking. That is pretty much it, although the Medals sectiong is where the real action is.
Finally, you have the Medals section. here you can practice basic guitar skills, advanced guitar skills, endless games, and rhythm toys. I haven't reached the guitar stuff yet, but the endless games are really fun because they are just there so that you can reach a highscore and try to beat it. Rhythm toys are just random things there to take use of the touch screen and have you try to use when you are bored. Just for the record, endless games are rhythmatic while the endless games are not.
All-in-all, this game is worth the $30 it's sold for, and even more. I gave it a ten because it does everything a Rhythm game should have, even better, and adds some more things. This is a great game, and if you don't believe me just download/play the demo and try it out for yourself.
