Interesting new ideas make Ride! Carnival Tycoon a whole new way to play amusement park games.

When I first started Ride! Carnival Tycoon I was expecting it to be just like the Roller Coaster Tycoon series. I came to find out it wasn't like Roller Coaster Tycoon at all. Ride! Carnival Tycoon isn't an amazing ground breaking Roller Coaster game, but a few new features make it a different way to play. Having a generator to power your rides adds a touch of realism, workers falling asleep on the job, although it's annoying and happens way to often, is a unique feature. A new addition to this game is the fact that you can have games like ring toss, balloon pop and various others. Thats about all the good I found in the game, lets talk about the bad. There's no pathways for you to make, the people just walk around the park and ride the rides, that means no waiting lines exist, a rather disappointing factor. Ride! Carnival Tycoon isn't the greatest game ever made, but if you looking for something easy and are a fan of amusement park games I'd give this game a try. Otherwise you might just want to leave it alone.
