Ridge Racer 6 is the worst of the Xbox 360 launch titles.

Ridge Racer 6 feels like the original game for the Playstation, except the graphics are improved. There is no need to rent or purchase this game, because you can get the same experience playing the original Ridge Racer.

The gameplay feels extremely dated. The other racing titles for the Xbox 360 blow this game out of the water. The arcade-like handling gets extremely repetitive after a few races. Another problem with the game is the huge amount of time it takes to finish. There are so many races that it is best not to play any of them at all.

Graphically, Ridge Racer 6 is great. The textures on the cars and the environment are impressive. This is one of the better looking Xbox 360 launch titles. If the gameplay was as good as the graphics, Ridge Racer 6 would be a game worth picking up.

Avoid Ridge Racer 6 and get a much better racing game from the launch lineup. Hopefully the next Ridge Racer in the series will have completely different gameplay style, or else this might be one of the last games in the Ridge Racer series.
