Riptide GP2

Mobile games usually have simple graphics, so I was amazed when I first loaded this up on my Kindle; I didn't realise it could produce these quality graphics. The Jet Ski automatically accelerates and with the default controls; you rotate your device to turn. I liked using this system, so that's the way I played. There's an on-screen button which you tap to brake, but it was rare that I used it. Another button activates the boost which is replenished when you perform tricks when you are launched in the air (mainly from boost ramps, but sometimes directly bouncing off the water). New tricks can be unlocked as you level up, and are performed by simple flick gestures. The more complicated ones take longer to perform, but award you with more boost. With the money, you can upgrade your Jet Ski, or purchase a new one. Each Jet Ski has different base stats, and different upgrade limits, so you can only upgrade it so much before ditching it for a better model. There's a few different type of events; Race, Trick, Elimination, Hot Lap. The game starts to feel a bit repetitive towards the end because there's too many events and not enough tracks.
