When I first got Rise of Nations I wasn't to excited because I was hooked on Age of Empires 3. But once I gave it a try I realized that this game is not quite the same as Age of Empires, but just as fun. Like other successful real time strategy games Rise of Nations has ages to advance through that provide you with plenty of new upgrades, however nothing really happens with your enemy encounters until the late ages. The game goes from ancient times all the way up to the present, and is extremely entertaining along the way. The only things that are frusturating are getting nuked, although it is fun to do, and suddenly getting the notice that your opponent is about to win becuase they built wonders. But this isn't enough to bring the game down, it is still a perfect 10. Enjoy. Thanks.
