Gameplay wasn't the best, but the music wasn't half bad...

Where to begin?

Well I got this game years ago just after it came out and at the time it looked promising. You know when your a kid the idea of game which allows you to kick some robot butt around is all fun. Well maybe not in this case.

Now after dusting off my snes I decided to give ROTR a whirl again having not played it for manier year. My memories of the game are different from what I played today. There are only a few good points. The graphics are pretty sharp for the snes especially the short cinematics before each battle. The robotic techno music which accompanies the battles isn't half bad either.

However, this is were it gets bad. The gameplay is very boring; only having one character to use (the cool looking cyborg guy on the front of the box) gives it barely any replay value. Also the combos never seem to work.

So all in all its a "play it twice won't be playing that for awhile" kinda game
