Boring and outdated usability disaster. The game did not advanced much since the previous games.
You should only pay for this game if you really like to play the old outdate games with only a few spells, primitive graphics, small world, few weapons and etc.
If you are a games imagine what can be inconvenient in the RPG game and you will get it all in Risen. It seems like developers did their best to make every part of the game suffer from usability caveats.
The game itself is very short and have very small amount of items and spells. You will be very disappointed buy it if you area looking for the game that can allow you to use more than just 5-10 spells.
Almost all you can find in the game is from the very small set of items. That makes the game completely boring and making you asleep.
If I would know it before - I would never buy the game.
