Highly underrated. One of the best fighting games ever made.

Rival Schools will appeal to many types of people. Those who like anime, and those who like Street Fighter. Rival Schools does one thing better than most, and that is it's a lot of fun to play. The move sets are simple, the graphics are very nicely done, and they all have a nice story. Also, this thing controls like a dream. Button mashers will get stomped by someone who knows what they are doing. Even though the tag-team aspect isn't in full detail here, it still isn't as big an issue as X-men vs. Street Fighter on PS1 was. Overall, this is a game I will keep in my collection forever. No fighting game has been this fun since Super Smash Brothers, nor does it have the respect it should. Truly a classic fighting game from Capcom.
