just like ICO was completely ignored when it first came out, this is one of those forgotten gems that most people sadly will never play. It is one of the most underrated games the PS2 has ever seen. It has a great story, perfect voice acting, reasonably lengthy, fun to play, immersive, a really wonderful game. It may not be the most original game or have the best graphics around, sure not, but it is a great experience, a game you will surely come back to many times and you will enjoy almost like the first one. If you like sci-fi games and horror and Alien movies, do yourself a favour and play this game!
