When compared to other racer/ action car games on the NES road fighter just doesn't cut it. Basically your a car racing to the end of the level. You have cars, oil sicks, and other things to dodge as turns. To make the game more interesting the game makes cars swerve in front of you and have to collect gas contently in the form of rainbow cars. The game is very unforgiving on the gas if you miss one gas car your screwed and it's game over. it's not much help when you have little gas to start with, it goes down even after you crash, and it takes a lot to recover from a car hitting you. It' doesn't stay fresh and the levels don't get much interesting. To further gamers not wanting to play it for long theres no continue once you get a game over you have to start all over. This is one car game on the NES thats a safe pass.
