User Rating: 8 | RoboCop NES
As a kid, I had a hard time getting through this game after a while, so therefore I got real mad at it and thought that this game just sucked. Then after around ten years, I finally beaten it and then had different thoughts.

Story: 7/10
- This game did not have much of a storyline. The game is supposed to follow the RoboCop movie but, their are a lot of parts of it left out. RoboCop was originally a human being cop, but was brutally murdered and got transformed into a cyborg. The game then just follows with RoboCop just cleaning up the streets but, It does captures the spirit of the RoboCop movie to some degree, as it involves killing generic criminals and enemy bosses, like the dangerous ED-209.

Gameplay: 7/10
- The game is a side-scrolling beat-em-up/shoot-em-up kind of game. The player had to meters on the screen: the power meter (displays RoboCop's health) and the time meter (displays RoboCop's battery energy). The player has a choice of shooting or punching but only in certain parts of the game where the player can only do punching. RoboCop is already armed with the default pistol but has to find the 2 other weapons: a sub-machine gun and the Cobra gun; that shoots explosive rounds. The game gets more and more difficult as the player progresses. What I never got was: how can RoboCop, a metal machine, be hurt by plain old bullets or sissy punches?!

Graphics: 7/10
- The graphics are fairly good but, they could of done more work to it.

Sound: 8/10
- The sound effects of the game were all right. The music was always the same old theme from the RoboCop movie.

Overall, I give this game an 8 out of 10. This game could have been a lot better. If I still not had beaten this game already, I would have given this a 6 out of 10.
