Pokemon with robots! I'm not going to lie...it's entertaining.
The battle system may be very much a mimic of Pokemon, and the towns might be too. But it has some type of element that makes the combat enjoyable throughout. I never really got bored throughout the game because of the simple battle-after-battle-killmode that you get into when playing it.
The story wasn't the greatest ever, but it was enough to keep me entertained while playing through the game.
This game might not be the greatest gameboy ever created, but it's a different approach to a Pokemon type game that can easily take your attention. This is an excellent game to just take on a long car ride or trip. Just sit back and enjoy pwning the other robots in Robopon.
