Robot Unicorn Attack

This game is so simple, and this simplicity makes it this fun and addictive to play!

This is basically just a mini review of this fantastic flash game. The reason that I'm not writing an in-depth review is because there is really not much to say about the game. As I mentioned in the review deck, the concept of Robot Unicorn Attack is so simple, yet it makes the game highly addictive. Basically, you play as a unicorn. Once you start the game, you'll get three lives (or wishes as they call it in the game). Your whole task as a unicorn is to run, dash through and jump over the obstacles that are blocking your way. Actually, you don't have to do anything in order for the unicorn to run because he runs by himself without you having to hold any keys. If you don't jump or dash on time, unicorn hits the obstacle and gets blown to hell! As a result, you'll lose one of your lives, and you have to start over. Once you lose three times, it's game over.

The whole point of playing this game over and over again is to keep getting higher scores and being able to survive for a longer distance. By the way, the game gets faster and faster as you progress, thus it gets harder as well.

Like I said before, the controls are super simple, You only need to use two buttons in this game: X to dash and Z to jump. This is a good thing simply because you don't have to worry about learning complex control scheme and you can easily focus on your timing, which is the key to get a high score in this game.

The music is kick-ass! The soundtrack for the original version of the game is very catchy, and the one for the metal version is so epic!

The graphical design is really goos too. There are two versions of the game available, the metal version and the original version, and the visuals is different for each of them. The original one looks really colorful, and the main colors that are used are pink and purple (how manly!). The metal version is the exact opposite; it looks like the game takes place in hell! The cool thing is that your unicorn looks exactly like a robot with a metal body! The main colors in this version of the game are grey, dark orange, and a little bit of black.

All in all, I think Robot Unicorn Attack is one of the best flash games out there. The neat thing is that there are two versions of this game, so if you are a female, you can play the original version with pink and purple colors (!), and if you are a male, the metal version is made for you! I highly encourage everyone to play this game. You don't need to pay any money, just search the game online and play it, or if you have a Face Book account, play it on there. Trust me, you'll be hooked!
