This game is way underrated. The cel-shaded graphics are cool, the storyline is immersive and the gameplay is fantastic.

Sorry, Gamespot, but I have to disagree on your rating for Robotech: Battlecry. It may not be the best game ever made, but it is definitely better than "mediocre".

This game flows great. The ability to switch between three different modes keeps the gameplay from getting stiff. The button layout is pretty easy to get used to.

It was smart to make this game cel-shaded, because the interaction between objects is smooth.

Also, the storyline is quite deep, many a time keeping you on the edge of your seat.

Sure, this game has a few weakspots too, such as a somewhat weak multiplayer mode and the music playing almost completely over the voiced dialogue during clip-scenes. A coop-mode would have been great, too.

Overall, this game is absolutely worth getting, and will keep you playing for several hours.
