The begining of 2009. I heard rock band was a pretty good game and was better then guitar hero. At the time my xbox360 had dust on the mother board. So it would not play xbox360 games. Then i heard the PS2 was 99$ for full band . Whoa! Then i bought it. First lets talk about the instruments . They werent broken out of the box. The mic worked fine, the guitar is O.K but wont respond when i wont it to go into overdrive,The drums are the best. It takes time getting used to, and its idective. Dont worry about the kick pedal. It did not break. The gameplay is fun, mostly in full band. The game took out rocker creater. Now the game uses pre-rendered video, which is when they record gameplay from stronger consoles. Then, even in fullband , has took the ability to gain fans , earn money,and get inducted in the rock n; roll hall of fame , are gone (bye,bye). Does this make the game suck? No! The pre-rendered video looks pretty great. Overall . Even if you dont get to create a character . Who cares! It still rocks!
