Rocket Knight Adventures is easily one of the most charming games on the genesis. This game has everything: sword fighting, sword fighting while flying, sword fighting while swimming, sword fighting with robots, sword fighting in space. With very good level design, sound effects, and a good soundtrack to go with it, this game has personality that many games lack even the modern ones. This game is guaranteed to have you going back for more even after you have run out of lives and continues. This game is a hard platformer that more then makes up for it with interesting boss battles, hilarity, and plot twist. The game is also family friendly and an excellent way to keep kids entertained even though it is one-player.
This game rockets to a rating of 9 for being a memorable entertaining adventure, having tons of interesting and well-developed levels, and a great soundtrack.
