With amazing graphics and controls, Rocky Balboa is the best game on the PSP so far!
I'd like to first point out the amount of things you can do on this piece of magic. There are three different modes, Historical Fights, Exhibition and Fastlane. There's also a training place called Mickey's Corner, which is awsome when it comes to training, but the most addicting mode is Fastlane, because it has the most to do and allows you to fight some interesting matches, such as Clubber Lang versus Ivan Drago.
There are many characters to choose from in Rocky Balboa, mostly made up of characters thats names areonly mentioned once in the films.
Rocky's a good fighter, but the best to go is with Clubber or Drago. When you're fighting, the injuries become noticeable while in the round and the characters can appear tired, adding to the experience. Power mood is something you can unlock if you're in trouble of getting knocked out, and you can take out your opponent wih it.
The soundtrack works well with the game, making it authentic Rocky. The sound's amazing too. I haven't played a million PSP games to see which sound is better, but this game satisfied me enough with its sound.
This game has the best graphics I've ever seen on the handheld. I'm amazed at how the designers could create such great graphics for such a tiny screen. However they did it, they did great!
The controls are pretty well designed and simple, but at times, they caused me physical pain in my fingers, so I had to pause the game to rest my fingers, but otherwise, it was greatly done.
In my opinion, Rocky Balboa is the best boxing game on the PSP, perhaps the best boxing game of all time. It has the certain feel to it that makes you feel you were a part Rocky's life. I can't recommend any better PSP game. Trust me, it will be worth the purchase.
If this were the end of Rocky 2, and if I were to change Rock's words abit, they would propably go like this:
"Beside Medal of Honor Heroes, this is the best game for my PSP!
Yo Adrian! I got it!"
(sorry, couldn't help myself.)
