Rogue Galaxy isn't revolutionary, but there's no doubt that it truly is a phenomenal RPG well worth your attention.

RPG's sure have come a long way since Dragon Warrior (Dragon Quest in Japan). That game certainly did bring innovations, such as the top-down perspective and a storyline. Then there was Final Fantasy, with its fourth installment changing console RPG's forever and the seventh installment being credited to popularizing them. From the creators of Dark Cloud 2 and Dragon Quest VIII, Rogue Galaxy comes at the end of the PS2's long lifespan. However, don't let that stand in the way of a possible purchase. This is very much worth your time. Believe me, if you enjoyed Dark Cloud 2, chances are you'll enjoy Rogue Galaxy.
