At first I was enthusiastic about this one, but over time... Enthusiasm was decapitated by repetitiveness and boredom.

What can I say about Rogue Galaxy. Really cool graphics at first, I love cell shader, really, but still... Graphics is so damn repetitive! At first I didn't noticed but it started at jungle planet. Same trunks, same WHOLE curves leading you through forest, same waterfals, even though really fine made, you get to see the same elements all over and over and over and over... I'm gonna puke.

Sound? Good enough but I had problems to recall it after turning of my console. Well honestly, It's ok, but no fireworks, flashy stuff and such. But sound and music play it's role.

Story: Quite fun, but... Dunno, ships in space? "All hands on deck!"? "Man overboard!"? I love ships from XVII century but when I see them flying all over the galaxy... Honestly I don't know what to think about it. It's something new to watch but hey, what the hell they need sails for when they have jets?
I can't possibly digest tons of random events which occur on great journey to the legends. Always something's happening and I don't mean action. I don't have anything against richly flavoured story but what is happening in Rogue Galaxy is... Unnatural. Tons of weird coincidences. Ugh.

Characters are fun, but some I can't comprehend.

Simon? He reminds me much of dwarven version of Bangaa from FF12 or child of Bangaa and Seeq.

Steeve? C3PO made of steel pipes... HE EVEN TALK IN SIMILAR WAY!

Lilika? Cool, almost like Fran...

Jaster? The name tells all... Total wuss, he reminds me of Parn, Van but more lame version. He looks like... "Vaaatttt timeizzzit?..."

But still, those are quite unique chars, clichéd but still colorful. The force isn't stron enough in me to write about others...
Speaking about force... I'm glad that Jaster isn't some kind of noble knight who travels along galaxy and helps innocent. But still... He travels along galaxy and helps whoever he can... Whee!

But let's get to gameplay. Running and jumping is fun, but there's not much use of jumps. Sometimes you have to jump somewhere to advance but it sinks among brainless hacking all the way. What I can tell about battles? Challenging? Oh my dear God! Never! Do you call a challenge when you totally brainless party get wiped out by monsters? Why the hell I need party for when I'm always fighting alone? The rest of party members is a waste of potions cause they'll die in another 10 seconds. I can understand when 1 hit takes 1/3 of total hp but still... Don't cover battle planers when they f*cked up they work.
There isn't something like Artificial Intelligence. It's more like Artificial Stupidity or Artificial Idiotism. They just die. Hit few times, deal some damage, suggest some actions which most of them are healing or ressurection items...
But hey speaking about items... I'm wondering. Why the hell they don't have diarrhea from drinking all those potions...? I would have.

But speaking about items. There's some kind of poor version of "license board" from ff12 but instead of points, we'll be spending items. Yeah, you'll have to use few items to learn a new skill. What do they do with them? Shove them up they a**...? They could it them, yummy vitamins, but still... Fire extinguisher besides of iron isn't much edible...
Blech, I expected much of this game and it really makes me sad to see that It's... Disappointing. That's really accurate word for Rogue Galaxy.

Above short review is my own and honest opinion. I don't give a damn if you don't agree.
