Great Gameplay and nice graphics make this game good. The Story and characters aren't the best, but they work.

The best thing about this game is the overall gameplay. It's pretty balanced and keeps things moving, though there is a fair amount of repetitve button mashing. What keeps you playing is the customization for the weapons. You'll just keep fighting over and over trying to get new weapons maxed out to combine them and won't realize you are leveling.

The character and story themself don't shine in this game, and you do have the typical guys that come in ever game. It's slightly predictable, but interesting enough to keep you going, if only to get new weapons and unlock new abilities. I've only played through about half the game so far, but I like all the different side quests/quarries you can do. Probably the last good PS2 RPG, but definitely worth buying if you are a fan of RPG's.
