Rogue's hidden side - Multiplayer is good fun
I have to say it seems the developers havent really done a good job with this. The story line is quite boring and the funneled approach to the levels simply have been done to death in other games. There was a lack of anything different to shooting out a light and stabbing someone from behind. However there were parts were there was some excitement, but the excitment didnt last long. On one the levels I actually ran straight past the about 6 AI without getting killed and moved on to the next section.
The General gameplay
They seem to have emulated Rainbow 6 vegas with the cover system and ropes and have the killmoves from Velvet Assassin.
Online play
A friend and i created a match, we played the Dockyard, Palace and the level with the big submarine in it.
All of which were really nice to play and the art looks much better than in Single Player.
Its very clear that they took more time with the development of Online play. The levels look finished to a much better quality too.
The killmoves
The fun comes when you perform the killmoves, especially performing a killmove from cover. The map design allows you to play run and gun or sneaky cover play, on all of the maps we played.
Mickey
I loved listening to Mickey Rourke who played as Demo Dick, he made me laugh, but soon got annoying.
In general
If nothing else, this is an average budget title (£30 new) that at least has some replayability with multiplayer if you can find enough people to play it!!
