Best Realistic Virtual World MMOG to Date. Enjoy the first years of Ultima Online? Roma Victor is the next generation.

User Rating: 8.9 | Roma Victor PC
The best thing about Roma Victor is the realism. Players can construct almost anything from simple knives to buildings and cities. The combat is also based upon realism and player skill rather than just numbers, gear and luck. The best players are respected for their ability, not the items they own, skills they trained or wealth they may have. This makes the game very worthwhile to play.

There is very little single-player content as the game focuses on player community, cooperation and interdependancy. Although, because the game is so open and free, players do whatever they like, whatever the reprecussions may bring them. Beside the basic new player tutorial, there are no set quests that must be completed or levels to gain. You live in a virtual iron-age world where the sword and the pen wins the day.

The worst thing about Roma Victor since release is the lag and connection delays. If it were not for the lag and connection issues I would rate this game much closer to a 10 for its realistic virtual world design and gameplay. Once the developers fix the lag, this will be the sandbox MMOG to live in.
