If you're looking for a true simulation of rugby...this ain't it. sum it up? too easy on easy, too hard on hard!
-alot of teams
-high tackles are fun
-fair player likeness
-create a player
-good tackle animation
-hear the ref tell your players off !! lol
cons-
- bad camera
-poor scrums ( i have never won a scrum.....EVER)
-poor rucks and mauls ( all you do is press X, no active involvment with rucks or mauls)
-the skill stick thing hardly ever works
-stupid and annoying AI (AI would rather mark an oppnent without the ball than tackle the ball carrier) and (occasionally AI just doesnt tackle)
-very hard lineouts
-opponets use same set plays throughout each match ( gets boring)
-set plays overly complicated
- To easy on easy, to hard on hard
-wilko's too good ( can kick the entire length of the pitch)
-random glitches (where the ball magically appears in someone elses hands, ok....this has only happened twice to me)
-lots of small and tedious things
As i dont have rugby challenge i can't really comment on that game, however i will say that no rugby game has compared to Jona Lomu Rugby on the PS1!!
