The game looks bad with poor use of graphics and computer generated rendering. The cut and paste function has been working overtime on this game.. In addition, the commentary gets so repetitive and the game controls are frustrating. he game does feature the ability to create custom players, teams, and seasons, but these are similarly stripped back. You have a few preset looks to choose from when creating a player, and their stats and abilities don't improve once they're on the field. As for teams, you choose a logo and a team uniform. One of the most annoying commentators on air is Andrew Voss and for some unknown reason was used extensively and far to often in the game.. When you think the game is going to get good you get super AI strength that shut you down. Half time gives you little detail and the stats are poorly defined. The A.I. on your team is brain dead, literary. Rugby League Live allows up to four people in offline and online multiplayer. Offline can be engaging in short bursts with a group of fans, pizza and beer. The online matches could not be tested due to a lack of opponents online.
Conclusion, Your time would be best spent watching a real game with the control in your hand.
