I like number 2 better but not by much.Plus playing them in order is your best option.
before they stopped selling it in stores.They did not advertise and they stopped making it and the guides for it, which is why you can't find a guide for
under $45 and the game is $5-$10 over the original price.But it is definitely
worth it! This is the second best harvest moon game up to number 2's release
in november( the first being harvest moon ds in my opinion ). I suggest buying
this game and number two and it's guide, around $70 but worth it. This game
has many things to do that could take you the whole day or more sometimes,but everyone has a part of it they don't really enjoy,for me it's the fishing.It's got a good system but i don't like fishing( in the game atleast ).
Most people think that farming in a game is just about the lamest
idea for a game ever.But actually the harvest moon series is one of the most
sold series of all time, about fourth( zelda mario star wars ).This game does
have some letdown's like only being able to cary 9 of the smae item,fighting can get old by the end of the game,money is way to easy to get it's annoing
and nothing to spend it on.( i have 1.3 million gold in number 2 ).Two other
big downfalls are that 1. they didn't improve anything in number two that
they didn't do well in number 1. 2.Every item in the game has a level and if
it is not the same level as the one you already have, you must start another pile,which is very frustrating because you can only have a total of around 100
spaces which is not a lot.And last,the graphics mix 2d and 3d very very well.
If you like rpg's and atleast sorta like harvest moon a little,you'll love it!
