I love MMORPGs, but one thing holds me back. I have a terrible computer. RuneScape was the answer for me, it has the best graphics I've seen with Java, tons of content (you'll never run out of things to do), and is constantly updated.

With 22 different skills to raise, you'll never get bored with it. There's enough variety in the skills to keep it intresting.

Combat is a bit of a disappointment, it looks like you and your enemy are just hitting each other with whatever you happen to be holding. There's not much variation in the actual combat, but so many different drops that it's not totally mind-dulling.

Bottom line is, if you play WoW or similar games, RuneScape is not quite up to that standard, and you'll be disappointed. But I've found my five dollars a month to be very worth it, it's my RPG fix.

  A very fun game, great with the free play, but unforunately, the best of the game is for the paying members.
