Me, my self being a person who played runescape for about 2 years and reached lvl. 60. I've been through the ups and downs of it can safely say that its nothing special but not horrible. The main reason that makes the game be not good is (in my opinion) the fighting system.you click on monster and basically watch what happens. which could get boring for most of us who actually want some fun. The game gives you tons of stuff to do, ranging from tons of quests and skills which you must master. The free-to-play version was fun but once you beat all the quests theres no point in playing anymore. Now where the real meat is the pay-to-play. Here members can access almost one other half of the world which is filled with tons more things to do . Members have anccess to an other type of magic, new armor , almost 4x more quests(which are being added to every week almost. Once you actually play in the members version you'll find yourself playing for weeks to raise enough money to buy teh very expensive weapons and armor.(I rally did mean weeks) To summarize the whole point of this review runescape is fun and great but in the long run you'll find out you just basically wasted some major time.
