Fun, but repetitive!
Runescape is your typical MMORPG. The difference between Runescape and most others in its class, is that Runescape is Java-based, which means no downloads! It also runs on low graphics, which is great for most computer and connection types.
There are many different types of skills available to please all different types of players, such as fishing, cooking, woodcutting, construction, and the newly released summoning skill. Those are just a few of some of the skills Runescape has to offer it's players. If you're not interested in skilling, you can always work on your combat. There are several different ways in which you can level your combat level, and become more powerful in the game. For those interested in melee, you can work on strength, attack and defense. Players interested in a slightly different route, can work on range and magarey. All of these will increase your combat level over time, including HP, prayer and summoning!
Runescape also offers tons of mini-games, which allow players to fight against one another, help gain experience, or to be used to collect rare prizes.
Overall, Runescape is a great way to kill boredom, especially for newbies! So the next time someone calls you a "no0b", take it as a compliment!

Pros: Java-based, which means no downloads. Available to play for free, and only requires a low monthly fee for members. Loads of quests, skills and mini-games available. There is also lots of "STUFF" that can be purchased and equipped, allowing you to customize your character!
Cons: Repetitive. The Runescape community can be considered immature in their behaviour compared to other MMORPG communities.
