Well hello everyone. You may have read a couple of my reviews (wouldnt think so. havent done many yet) but if you did heres another one for you. This time my review is on the free mmorpg game Runescape. I wont deny it. Im what you guys would probably call: an idiot that wastes his life on this stupid game. Ive played for about a year and a half now and I can tell you that a lot of the insults are true but they are completely looking over the good side of the game just so they can make an entertaining review. One of the main insults is the clickville style. Basically everyone thinks that all you do in this game is click. Technically this is correct but thats pretty much all you do in most mmorpgs. Click for xp, click for xp, its in every single mmorpg ever made. Another problem people bring up is the graphics and sound. I will admit that the sound is terrible (both music and sfx) but the graphics... Well they defenitely arent up to date or super powerful or anything like that but they have their charms. And what do you expect? Its a java based game. There are tons of skills including cooking, mining, and woodcutting. Another nice thing about runescape is the pvp system. Up north there is a huge area called the wilderness where players can attack eachother. Some people create accounts used just for this act and If you can join a nice pking clan you will have a blast pking. This is an mmorpg but it is free but if you want to take the next step you can pay $5 US monthly to get an enhanced version of the game called members. These players have more skills, more quests, and overall way more things to do. Overall since the game costs you nothing unless you subscribe you should defenitely try the game. And also try not to judge it until you get to atleast lvl 20-25 because thats about when things start being good. Dont go half way through tutorial island and say this game sucks and quit becauses thats not even the main runescape world. I dont care wheter or not you like runescape but atleast give it a chance.
