Rush'n attack, which is a play on the words "Russian Attack", was initially an arcade game centered around rescuing a group of POW's who are facing imminent execution. Rush'n attack was also released for the NES, but for consoles the story was toned down a little, so you were infiltrating a Soviet base in order to destroy the Russian's "secret weapon". The primary weapon of the game is an Army knife, with which you dispatch numerous commies. There are other weapons available, but the knife remains the primary weapon. Rush'n attack is pretty similar to other 2D scrolling shooters & beat em ups of the era, but the setting and some of the gameplay make for a somewhat unique experience. Rush n' Attack is a simple 2D sidescroller. It almost seems like a predecessor to Metal Slug to me. Thats all I can really say -Gameplay Fun, especially with a friend as previously mentioned. The game is tough tho... Read Full Review
