Despite the harsh reviews, Ryse: Son of Rome is a good game that displays high end graphics applied to a rather simple hack and slash game. With a Arkham-esque combat system allied to a huge amount of blood and gore, it is a blast to play through Ryse's 6 hours campaign for the first time. Sure it feels too simple and repetitive sometimes, but still a nice and enjoyable game.
