I was hoping for more.

I finally found the time to buy and give this game a shot.
I was quite excited after watching videos on Youtube and reading the other reviews.
Now after about 25 hours into the game, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed.
It all started of interesting, I explored Steelport, made some money, bought most of the properties, started a few of the activities, collected and modified vehicles, let my character run naked through the streets and bashed innocent people and other gang members with a massive rubber dong!
The main story starts off really slow, the first missions are mostly introducing the activities. Later on, the story line gets more interesting, some missions are funny and different (a videogame in a videogame, anyone?), but never a big challenge.

Comparisons with GTA are inevitable, and despite all the available activties, it still feels kinda empty.
Why oh why are most of the buildings inaccessible? Surely, adding a few staircases and accessible roofs can't be that hard, but would make the game a bit more immersive and interesting.
The game's difficulty is a joke. Auto healing and losing gang and police heat by entering one of the stores you own, which are scattered all over the place AND cheap enough to buy almost all of them at the beginning? And the higher you level, and the more skills you unlock, the easier it gets.

On the other hand, the whacky characters are definitely a positive side of the game.
And some of the stuff is just hilarious, if you enjoy toilet humor like I do.
But it's not enough to keep me on the edge of my seat until the campaign is finished.
