Not BAD, for a couple bucks at the bargain bin.

User Rating: 7.5 | Saltwater Sportfishing PS
Saltwater Sportfishing by Take-Two Interactive is not a bad attempt for a saltwater fishing game, but not the best either. Game starts by looking at your radar for fish and putting your boat on them, than selecting your line and lure, and casting it in to the water. The main scene is either underwater view or behind the boat and that's it, being that the whole time you are trolling, there is no casting over and over again. The underwater view is useful to see what fish are underwater and whats around. The behind the boat view is the best when fighting a fish because of the high jumps and a good view of the fight which is a good part of the game.

Graphics are pretty basic for the PS1 not the best here but are clear enough to tell what you are looking at. I give than a 5/10

Sound FX could have been a lot better, same boring sounds and music during most of the game and on different levels. You would think that there would be different music on different levels but not. You get the same music over and over again when fighting a fish and that gets old and the same boring bird noises when nothing is happening. Not much put in to it. 3/10

There is different modes to play in like Arcade, Recreation and Tournament, most are fun and easy to beat, some challenging but not to difficult. To me the best part of the game is to just try and break your on records, which you can see in gallery. Over all not a bad game to burn some time on. There is a lot worst fishing games out there so, give this one a try you might like it.
