Santa's possessed, and only Sam and Max can help him, with as much meaningless violence as possible, of course.

User Rating: 9.5 | Sam & Max Episode 201: Ice Station Santa PC
Sam and Max have always been known for their charismatic presence, their knack for being stuck in the middle of the most insane situations ever pictured in a computer game, and, of course, their unique, twisted sense of humor. Well, Ice Station Santa, the first episode of SaM's second season follows up nicely on those traditions, starting off from where the first season ended, strainght into a plot filled with possessed "pagan Gods" (Santa, for the intimate), suicidal rats, paranoid shopkeepers and phylosophically sensitive mass destruction robots. Or as the famous duo would put it: "Just another day in the office..."

What can you trully say that hasn't already been said? The graphs immerse you in the comic book world of the two, the sounds maintain the tradition of the series, the sort of tune you hear on noir police movies, though much 'happier'. The game play is the same that's been present throughout the serie (and as for that matter, most adventure games ever made), with some much welcomed improvement from last season's titles, such as hilarious minigames and the double click run feature on outside environments.

The same dosage of hilarious moments remains. From running over 'Torture Elmo' dolls with your Desoto, to answering trivias you feel the urge to miss, so you could see the hilarious options of next questions, throughout the game, you'll rarely find yourself without a smile on your face, either from some hilarious joke you've just heard, or from a hilarious joke you're sure will come. My favorite in game laugh? Jimmy Two-Teeth's son, and his terminal case of Tourette's Syndrom, or as he would put it: "That's *censored*"

While it's not as funny, in my opinion, as Reality 2.0, Ice Station Santa is a fantastic introduction to a hopefully fantastic second season. Sam and Max are once again carving their way into adventure history, and they do it in their own unique, twisted style.
