Good for the fans of the films.

Personally, I find the Saw films absolutely amazing, so for this game to come out, I had to purchase it. Got it at a reasonable price from a local shop ( as good as it is, wouldn't bother wasting alot of money on it so rent/get it cheap)

The game play is good, with puzzles and enough storyline to keep you hooked to the game for a couple of hours at a time, although it does lack that factor that would keep you glued to it for days on end.. The graphics within the game are quite breathtaking with the direct use of light to affect the mood of the game. Albiet there's times Billy the Puppet pops up on the TV's like normal and some of them are better quality (noticeably taken from the film rather than been programmed into the game) The atmosphere that the game does provide is really good however, there's times you get a real sense of panic whenever someone's getting close to their death with Jigsaw's manic traps (Although sometimes, it's just good to let them get tortured to their death to see the visual effects of the blood spraying and flesh & bones being torn apart). The use of different objects as weapons and being able to set up traps of your own does provide the game with more variety. The storyline behind the game keeps twisting until the very end, much like the film's themselves and I do think this is just about the only thing thats worthwhile in the game.

In addition, the game is an easy 1000G to pick up for them people who would like to bump up their gamerscore, all very easy with the first play through and if you miss a few, theres always chapter selects after you've finished.

All in all, an average game which I would advise to any fans of the film series to give a go.
