Who doesn't love Scarface? I love it. You love it. You next door neighbor who may or may not have a secret? Yup, he loves it too. Scarface is a movie that everyone should watch at least one time in their lives. The legend of the movie still is going strong look no further than this game for your proof. Where to begin? I will admit when I first started playing I was a bit skeptical about how they would write about Tony's escape from the mansion. This was played out fairly well with basically a massive free for all inside the mansion. I'll start with the negatives in the game first, and there are many of them. The camera control is awkward and extremely sluggish. Missions are mind numbingly repetitive, to the point of boredom. The NPC's in the game are all cookie cutters of each other. Conversations are painfully stupid and they are generally all the same despite the people you are speaking with. The driving engine is really twitchy, the controls are at least responsive. Manual targetting is phenomenally terrible. Now if at this point you're still reading here are the good things about the game. The music list is easily as expansive as any of the GTA entries. Although Suicidal Tendencies needs shot for ever making the song I Saw Mommy. Painful, just painful. The missions(not to be confused with the boring side quests) are for the most part tolerable. The voice acting is very good with all the major players. Even the guy doing Tony's voice isn't too shabby.

There is a massive amount of different vehicles, boats, furnishings, businesses, and henchman to unlock by buying "exotics." This is the most fun part of the game without a doubt. Each henchman you unlock is able to do their own quests to earn money and help build up Tony's reputation. For the most part Scarface is an enjoyable, if not remarkable, clone of GTA. It's worth playing if you're a fan of the movie or a fan of prior GTA entries. It will keep you entertained for awhile.
